VIRTUAL REALITY, VIRTUALLY THERE?

[Philip Lelyveld comment: this is an interesting assessment from an analyst I've never heard of before.]

...a few things have become clearer:

1. Virtual Reality (VR) is nice, but the real force will be Augmented Reality (AR)
2. Content, Content, Content
3. The hardware is ready, mass adoption price points by 2017
4. No one is going to wear VR headsets in public
5. VR will be a solid niche category for hardware makers, at least for a few years
6. Some new ‘magical’ invention may surprise and prove me totally wrong
