Advanced Micro Devices Inc. will power virtual reality reporting for the Associated Press, enabling the news agency to produce more 360-degree videos and other interactive content.
The company said it will provide the hardware to run AP's virtual reality content on both high-end virtual reality headsets such as the Oculus Rift produced by Oculus VR Inc. as well as cheaper phone-based models.
