Corning H.S. students donate AR Sandbox to Lassen national park

[Philip Lelyveld comment: High School students build and donate a surface mapping app for geography/hydrology.]

Students from Corning Union High School took on the task of creating an Augmented Reality Sandbox for the 2015 Tehama District Fair and decided to donate it to the park.

The Augmented Reality Sandbox allows you to create a mountain range out of sand and then maps out the landscape with a projector highlighting areas of water runoff and natural watersheds.
