Virtual reality's presence at a defense industry conference in Orlando has grown from year to year.
Once relegated to a corner of the International/Interservice Training and Simulation Education Conference's showroom, virtual and augmented reality has grown to be featured in booths scattered across the room.
"If you are training someone on how to service a pipe, you can't break that pipe to give them something to work on," he said. "With virtual reality, you can go through any of your nightmare scenarios."
