Dixie Elementary art students bring pumpkins to life with augmented reality app
Art teacher Amanda Dunn-Meelkop introduced students to an app called Quiver that allowed them to draw a jack-o'-lantern and bring it to life with an iPad as students geared up for Halloween.
The digital wizardry was an exercise in texturing for the students, but they were having so much fun it didn't feel like learning.
