The Superheroe is the brainchild of Wolfgang Langeder, CEO and designer of Utope clothing, working in conjunction with the stretchable circuits division of Fraunhofer IZM. The cotton jacket integrates stretchy 64 RGB-LED flexible displays across its front, shoulders and back. These displays create a pattern that changes based on readings from an integrated acceleration sensor and 3D gyroscope, allowing the clothing to match the movements of the rider. It can even sync with a smartphone and display a special pattern whenever there’s an incoming call.
