Facebook-owned virtual reality company Oculus VR said today it will host a developer conference in late September. Oculus Connect is planned for Sept. 19-20 in Los Angeles and will feature keynote talks from CEO Brendan Iribe, founder Palmer Luckey, CTO John Carmack and chief scientist Michael Abrash. Oculus also said it had acquired a networking middleware company, RakNet; it’s the company’s second recent acquisition, followingCarbon Design.
