Microlenses for 3D Endoscopes

The camera integrated in the slender endoscope tube enables the surgeon to see every detail in sharp 3-D resolution – almost as if he were actually inside the patient’s brain. The stereoscopic vision provided by a 3-D endoscope considerably simplifies the work of neurosurgeons and other specialists. This Is Your Brain on 3D Ads

MindSign did a study for Cooliris that presented one group of subjects with a Cooliris ad and another with a video ad that was the same, shot by shot, but not interactive. Using the fMRI, MindSign produced video of the subjects’ brain activity as they experienced the ads. MindSign found that the passive act of watching video was the “most deactivating” experience across all subjects. The subjects who manipulated the 3D ads were lit up all over their brains, engaging motor and attention areas.

Animating Monty Python’s Latest Chapter in Stereo 3D

In 1980, Monty Python founder Graham Chapman wrote a memoir, A Liar's Autobiography Volume VI, with just enough biographical material to hold it together and more than enough cheek to keep Python fans happy. Like the blazingly original Monty Python's Flying Circus comedy show and the iconic films it spawned after its 1969 - 1974 run on the BBC, the book is more a series of satirical skits than one linear, confessional narrative. ...
