Press Release

In the US, consumer technology-driven market research firm Touchstone Research has launched a new division called Touchstone VR, to provide MR services to the virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) industries.

Branford, CT-based Touchstone offers a full range of services from questionnaire design, survey programing and qualitative recruiting, to ad hoc quant and qual studies. The firm also builds and manages custom online research panels and insight communities, and conducts ethnography and digital research, mobile app/game testing, and kids and families research.

The company claims to have been the first business to conduct research on virtual reality technology and headsets with US kids and teens, and to have produced the first ever VR consumer sentiment report (in conjunction with Greenlight VR). It has also surveyed more than 2000 consumers age 10 through 65 on their awareness, attitudes, perceptions, and purchase intent of VR platforms and headsets. In addition to serving companies working in the sector, the new Touchstone VR division will also offer a range of VR and AR specific research services, using tech-driven proprietary research methodologies, MR tools and platforms.
