‘Inventing The Future’ Launches Crowdsourced TV

Sure, 92% of the information on the planet has been collected just in the last two years, but what do we do with it? This statistic, buried in an IBM study last year, sparked a breakthrough idea in participatory TV.

Launching at New Media Expo in Las Vegas this afternoon, the show audience is crowdsourced online and invited to invent the future in real time. Live. This is the ultimate reach-out in audience participation to happen yet. (You can watch it unveil here.)

By mixing together digital age concepts of “real-time” and “crowd sourcing”,Inventing The Future is inventing its own future as breakthrough television.

The new program gives people the opportunity to imagine what’s possible—and create the future in “live” real-time—showcasing topics ranging from science, medicine, technology, and media including energy, stem cells, open geo-boundaries, digital life, to the robot car and the future social network.
